Handmade Christmas

Christmas is here again and the list of cards and presents seems longer every year!  I love giving cards and pressies to family and friends, so to stretch the funds, handmade cards and pressies are helpful.  If you reuse last years chrissy paper, then you’re being green too.  Check out the Choice site for some Christmas computer fun, Seasons eGreetings and 10 tips for a greener christmas.

The net has some great sites showing heaps of handmade cards, beaded jewellery, knitted and crocheted hats and scarves and all sorts of other interesting and easy crafts and gifts. Just try a Google search or a store like Spotlight or your local craft shop are great sources of ideas and materials to make anything you can imagine.  Christmas cookies and other snacks are great to give and receive as well.

What a great idea! I feel inspired to make some cookies and handmade earrings for gifts. Not only is it good for the budget it means less time in busy shopping centres and more time watching old christmas films like Charlie Brown’s Christmas and It’s a Wonderful Life. Thanks!
