Kids, adults and library staff shimmied and swayed to the music of Bollywood at the Helensvale Branch Library on Wednesday 1 October. The dancing was a huge success with the branch library’s courtyard decked out in brightly coloured streamers and balloons.

Staff dressed up in Indian saris and all the kids soon followed, putting on costumes and having their faces painted. The instructor certainly knew her stuff and soon everyone was dancing like a Bollywood star. Then the final dance began, a four and a half minute showdown using the routines that all the kids had learnt – a real Bollywood spectacular!
